Project Case Study

Major Classroom Extensions – Kings Heath Primary

Honeybourne, with their wealth of experience within this sector, have been engaged to extend 12 existing Key Stage 2 classrooms at Kings Heath Primary School, with whom they have enjoyed a long working relationship with.

The extensions will increase each classroom’s floor space by 40-45%.

PROJECT CASE STUDY

CAT Centre Dudley College

The work undertaken in this major project was to refurbish the CAT (Construction Apprenticeship Training) Centre at Dudley College. This is the main Apprenticeship Centre for electricians, carpenters, decorators, plumbers, brick-layers and plasterers.

Not having been been utilised for over 2 years the training site required a complete overhaul.

What Our Clients Say

Don’t just listen to us. Read what our clients have to say.

We have worked with Honeybourne Facilities for a number of years now and I would like to say how impressed we are with the work they undertake for us here at Heads and All Threads.

Mark Jukes, Senior Project Manager, with his highly skilled team work in an efficient and organised manner, nothing is ever too much trouble, delivering high quality work in a timely manner. As a customer we can rest in the knowledge that the job is being looked after by professionals.

Russell Salsbury

Operations manager – Heads & All Threads

I would like to take this opportunity to let you know how pleased we have been, as a school, with the work carried out by Honeybourne. Their work has been of the highest quality and everything that has been asked of them has been completed effectively and most importantly, on schedule. The site has been clean and tidy throughout, with very little disruption to the daily routines of our school. They have also carefully followed our safeguarding procedures and have liased and worked closely with the office and site staff.

Mrs K Hemming

Deputy head teacher – Yenton Primary School

Honeybourne have been highly professional in their approach to this project.  They have been timely in their communications, enabling us to plan appropriately for changes in schedules and ensuring that we are always abreast of time-frames and risks to completion dates.  They have absolutely respected the live environment and the need for us to deliver education to children.

Ms S.Hanson

head teacher – kings heath primary school

There have been a number of “little touches” that have made the relationship between construction, school staff, local residents and indeed pupils much more smooth than they could have been over the past six months. These have been subtle but noticed and appreciated by the school – so much so that one very senior member of the team was recently heard to ask if  “we could keep the builders on for a little while after they have finished?”

Adrian Broadbelt

Strategic School Business Manager – Kings Heath Primary School
