Project Case Study
New timber structure classroom for Marston Green School
Honeybourne have been working on a project at Marston Green Infant School in Birmingham. The scope of work was for the provision of a low cost, highly sustainable outbuilding on a constrained site to meet the needs of a busy inner-city school. The proposals provide a child safe learning facility and provide much needed additional learning space to the infant academy.

Operations manager – Heads & All Threads
I would like to take this opportunity to let you know how pleased we have been, as a school, with the work carried out by Honeybourne. Their work has been of the highest quality and everything that has been asked of them has been completed effectively and most importantly, on schedule. The site has been clean and tidy throughout, with very little disruption to the daily routines of our school. They have also carefully followed our safeguarding procedures and have liased and worked closely with the office and site staff.
Mrs K Hemming
Deputy head teacher – Yenton Primary School
Honeybourne have been highly professional in their approach to this project. They have been timely in their communications, enabling us to plan appropriately for changes in schedules and ensuring that we are always abreast of time-frames and risks to completion dates. They have absolutely respected the live environment and the need for us to deliver education to children.
head teacher – kings heath primary school
There have been a number of “little touches” that have made the relationship between construction, school staff, local residents and indeed pupils much more smooth than they could have been over the past six months. These have been subtle but noticed and appreciated by the school – so much so that one very senior member of the team was recently heard to ask if “we could keep the builders on for a little while after they have finished?”
